Full description

Setting off from La Paz, we embark on a short and scenic boat ride to the Whale Sharks Protected Area. As we venture into its azure waters, our experienced marine biologists guides scan the horizon, searching for the tell-tale signs of a shark swimming nearby. From mid-October to mid-April, these gentle giants gather in the shallow bay, creating a unique opportunity for an unforgettable encounter.

Our tour begins at our office in La Paz, where you'll be provided with a complete snorkel kit, including a full wetsuit, to ensure your comfort during the experience. A bilingual marine biologist guide will accompany you throughout the tour, sharing their knowledge about whale sharks and the local ecosystem.

After a short boat ride to the Natural Protected Whale Shark Area, we'll start our search for these majestic creatures. Once spotted, you'll have the chance to slide into the water and swim alongside them, observing their graceful movements up close. Our guides will also take identification pictures to contribute to population monitoring efforts.

Operating with a commitment to sustainability, safety, and service, we strive to minimize our impact on the environment and the sharks. Our tours are fully customizable, allowing you to combine the whale shark experience with other activities like visiting Espiritu Santo Island.

Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to connect with nature and witness the beauty of whale sharks in their natural habitat. Contact us to check availability and book your tour today.
