Full description

Join your small group of fellow adventurers and embark on a boat tour traveling to La Parguera, a small fishing village in southwestern Puerto Rico. Discover one of the best-preserved coral reef systems and mangrove forests in the Caribbean.

Upon arrival at La Parguera, stop for a quick appetizer at one of the various restaurants and bars. Board a private boat for a 25-minute ride through floating homes and mangrove cays while the sunsets.

Once you reach the bay your Guide will explain all you need to know about the dinoflagellates phenomenon. Experience this phenomenon firsthand as the agitation of the water disturbs these microscopic creatures that give off a glowing light, creating an impressive and magical effect.

Spend about 30 minutes marveling at this strange, lovely light show before heading back to the pier.

Felix was such an amazing guide! He was just so kind, funny, and welcoming. We were so happy and comfortable due to his energy and care! Such a kind person and we will always remember him! I wish nothing but amazing things for him! Now on to the experience: WOW, mesmerizing, breathtaking, spectacular!!! By far the best activity we did while staying in beautiful Puerto Rico, a once in a lifetime experience that was worth every penny! They also took us to a delicious restaurant where we had THE BEST fish tacos, we saw cute little chickens with their babies (adorable) then we went to a magical sand bar before we saw the bioluminescence. At the sand bar there were these massive fish and we got to feed and swim with them! At first I was afraid but Felix went out of his way to make me comfortable and understand how friendly the fish are and that they won’t go near you when you swim. I can not say enough good things about this tour! Don’t walk RUN to book this 🔥🔥🔥

This was an amazing excursion. The swimming at the sandbar was great and seeing all those fish was unexpected and exciting. Then the experience at the bio bay was amazing. It is hard to put in to words. The water just sparkled and we got to swim with the sparkles.

Great activity, my group was picked up from Condado so it was about a 2-1/2hr ride tacos and drinks were included which was nice after the drive. The boat tour was wonderful and being able to get out and swim in the chest deep water during the sunset was absolutely gorgeous. I wasn't to impressed with the glowing bay, it was very hard to see any glowing. Although I would highly recommend
