Overall, the day trip to Saudi Arabia was quite remarkable. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring a new city and experiencing a different side of it, particularly the mountains and the colder climate. Although the drive made me feel a bit nauseous, the breathtaking views and the refreshing, pure air made it all worthwhile. While the Rose Garden wasn’t in season, I found the learning about the evolution of the Rosewater process fascinating, especially as a chemist. It was interesting to see how things have changed over time. However, I must admit that the lunch portion was a bit overwhelming for me. Since I was the only person on the tour, the feast was meant for about 6 to 7 people, which left me feeling a bit full.

I had a great day with Muhammad. The tour starts later in the day so you also see the night life, which I recommend as Jeddah is a night city. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and glad to have a local guide to explain the culture, religion and country to me (if you are on the fence like I was, I would recommend taking Muhammad’s tour). He answered all my questions, took pictures, provided ample food and water and tailored the tour to what I wanted to see (as it is private). He also picks you up at your hotel. I had a wonderful time and highly recommend him. Thanks Muhammed!

Mohamed Rahim was the best guide I ever saw. I recommande to everyone. Ask his name for the trip. Mohamed Rahim is the best guide I have ever had the fortune to know. He is polite and knowledgeable about Mecca and its valleys and gives his time, patience and everything he has so that the person can have the best trip. Ask for him, you will not regret it.

One of the most welcoming guide I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting. I feel like I truly learned something about Saudi Arabia and Jeddah, thanks to Muhammad’s tour. He went above and beyond with thoughtful gestures including tasting local food and coffee, extra stops, and more. Highly recommend for anyone visiting.

We thoroughly enjoyed our excursion. Mohammed showed us the most important sights and skillfully explained the stories behind them, providing clear translations in both Arabic and English. He is very hospitable and open, taking you to the most beautiful and special places.
