What people are saying about La Jolla Cove

Overall rating

(431 reviews)

We had a great time! The people in the office were very friendly . Our tour guide Tyler was great! He was very informative and gave us lots of information on the wildlife and the caves. I lived seeing the sea lions, the leopard sharks, birds and fish . He kept our safety a priority especially in the caves . My teenage son only complaint is that his backrest was broke and he didn’t realize till it was too late and his back was hurting by end of trip . I think more information could be on the website that could be helpful to people who are traveling and do not know area nor have never kayaked before. Like where should you park and how early should we get there to accommodate for parking? do we need a wetsuit and if so how much? Overall, was fun and would do again!

Once we figured out that we didn’t have to forward for every chapter, we were golden. It really is GPS guided so you just push play. We could stop as we wished as well. Loved the areas pointed out. It was exactly what we wanted!

knowledgeable guide and he was friendly. we stopped at different locations to discuss the history of the your. it was fun.

The tour guide, Beth, was spectacular. She was pleasant to deal with and was great at keeping my 8yr old son engaged.

The whole thing was a blast! The guides Stella and Darren? were laid back but informative.
