What people are saying about La Grande-Motte

The tour was a mix of nature (medieval villages. a short hike, picnic at the lake) and exploring more touristy areas (Devil's Bridge, St. Guilhem le Desert). It was the perfect combination to give you a real walk through the history of the region with an enthusiastic and passionate tour guide. The tram was extremely easy to navigate to the meeting point (as someone who's never taken public transportation and does not speak the language).

The landscape with the canyon and Cirque de Navacelles was impressive and beautiful. The hike to the mill at Foux de de la Vis was a lot of fun. Our guide Davide gave us lots of interesting information about the area and was extremely friendly and considerate. The picnic together in nature and the sound of the waterfall was a lot of fun.

Amazing day trip. David was a superb guide. We visited four attractions in one day but it didn't feel rushed at all. David took time to explain the history and background to the various sites and clearly loves the region. He really brought it to life. Highly recommend.

Our day was excellent. David was very attentive and gave excellent explanations. The picnic by the Lake was enjoyable, as were David’s explanations of the history of each place.

David was a very nice and friendly guide. He did extra stops and showed us the surrounding very well.
