La Fortuna: Arenal Volcano, Lunch, & Hotsprings Morning Tour

Fantastic day from start to finish, picked up at the time specified and guided through the rain forest and volcanic fields. Spotted a few sloths sadly the monkeys didn’t make an appearance, but was shown loads of natural inhabitants which I’m very grateful for. The day finished with time in one of the hot spa centres and we were bussed back to our hotel. I don’t usually book tours but if this is anything to go by, i was very impressed. One thing I would say is that at times the hikes could be a bit tough so you do definitely need sturdy footwear and be able to manage quite a lot of steps (I managed and am not the fittest, so it is doable) Thank you so much, I had a great day 🥰

We had the most amazing trip. The transportation was on time and comfortable. There were just 12 on our tour with our guide Rene/ David who was great. The first part of the walk may be strenuous for some but our guide stopped and gave information about the volcano, birds and wildlife so we could rest a while. Very easy to walk over the lava trail and fabulous views of the volcano. The walk down through the rainforest was nice too, seeing small mammals, snakes and birds. Really tasty lunch then spent nearly 2 hours in the thermal waters. Loved going from hot pools to warm to cool waters. Felt rejuvenated after our hike. Also hardly anyone else there besides our group, you felt as though it was just for you. This is a fabulous trip at a fantastic price. Well worth the cost and thank you David for looking after us so well.
