A perfect day with the perfect tour guide. I am so glad that we chose to do the three activities in one day. Lunch was also delicious! Our tour guide Will was a wonderful guide who found a sloth, a snake, a hawk tarantula, and monkeys for us to view and be in awe of. I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour went great. Our guide Brian was very punctual and flexible and both him and the driver very attentive to our well-being. The tour can be a lot give the amount of walking so the lunch was a nice break and the food was delicious at their restaurant. I highly recommend.

Full description

Benefit from pick-up at your hotel in the La Fortuna area, and travel to Arenal Volcano to hike the paths surrounding the mighty mountain. Get back to nature in Arenal Volcano National Park, where most of the 850 species of bird identified in Costa Rica can be found.
Look out for other wildlife, such as white-faced capuchin monkeys, jaguars and deer.

Then, cool down with a swim in a natural pool at La Fortuna waterfall.
Once we are refreshed, will move to the restaurant to taste our delicious typical meal "Casado"

Marvel at the stunning landscapes of a secondary rainforest at the base of the park, and a primary rainforest with amazing biodiversity amongst the hanging bridges.
Walk through the rainforest on a network of 15 suspension bridges of various levels of difficulty in Mistico Park.

Brian was a fantastic tour guide. He identified many insects, snakes and other wildlife for the group and let us look in the telescope at Mistico Park. Next we went to the waterfall which was not bad going down but the 500 steps on the way up was challenging. The beauty of the waterfall was so worth the hike down and back. We got to spend an hour swimming. Next we ate lunch at a local restaurant which was one of the best Casados I had during the entire trip. Finally, we went to the Arenal 1968 Volcano hike. This is intense especially if you do not have hiking experience as it is a steep climb to the top and the trails are all natural. The views were spectacular and again worth the climb up. I recommend this for those who do not have a lot of time in La Fortuna and want to see several spots in one day and do not mind the intensity of all of the physical activity. Excellent value.
