It was a great day. As is with a lot of the tours, the guide can make or break it. Raul was amazing. Knowledgeable. Attuned to the individual needs of the group. Clearly enjoyed sharing the region with tourists. Saw some wonderful animals at Hanging Bridges. He was skilled in both spotting and identifying the diversity of wildlife you could encounter. And we were all happy to see both Black Howler monkeys and Spider Monkeys. The waterfall was stunning, but really shouldn't be billed as a place to go swimming as you could go in the water downstream of the falls themselves and the water was a bit chilly. I was also happy i was in relatively good shape, the 500 stairs down weren't an issue, but it might have a been a problem for others. The chance to rest at the top and snag a beer was much appreciated. Lunch was delicious.

Joshua was an amazing guide who we were lucky enough to end up having a private tour with! He is very knowledgeable about the area and puts in effort to go above and beyond - even showing us sloths on the drive back. He asked questions to tailor the tour, letting us make some decisions about where we were headed. It was truly a perfect day and Eric and I could not have asked for more. Thanks Joshua and our driver Carlos!

Every aspect of the tour exceeded our expectations! Our guide (Pepe) provided a great deal of information throughout the day. He was patient (as was our driver, Jorge) and knowledgeable. Our family (teenager included) would highly recommend this tour!

Great tour, best way to get to La Fortuna from San Jose as you stop off at several sites including coffee plantation, two waterfalls and zip lining. It was our first day and a great introduction to Costa Rica

We had a wonderful time! We took our six kids ages 15, 13, 11, 4, 4, and 2. The two year old fell asleep but everyone had a great time. We were even lucky to see two different types of monkeys.
