San Juan: The Rum, Cigars and Espadrilles experience

San Juan: The Rum, Cigars and Espadrilles experience

We will start by meeting at our shop in Calle La Fortaleza, one of the most famous areas in Old San Juan, where we will show you some hidden gems nearby. We will give you an introduction and start our tour. After meeting at our shop, we will head to our first stop, a family- owned traditional rum store renowned for its "Ron Añejo," our favorite in the entire island. We will taste different varieties while discussing San Juan and its culture. Then, at the same location, we will begin the cigar tasting. There we will learn to detect their quality and sample some local varieties. Afterwards, not far from there, we will have a little show with some drinks at an artisanal espadrille shop, the most traditional shoe from Spanish times. You will learn this tradition, try some pairs and even choose one classic espadrille for yourself (included in the price). We will turn the shop into a little party with music and drinks, all included! We will have around 3 hours of tour, during which we will taste traditional drinks, try quality cigars and get a pair of espadrilles, all within the price. Every stop on this experience is within walking distance. We also keep our groups small—never more than eight people—for a more personal and enjoyable experience. Bring your best smile and your interesting stories to share. It will be super local, and very authentic!

A unique experience ❤️ I learned a lot about the history of Puerto Rico in an educational way, I had never tried a cigar, I was encouraged by all the context that the experience entails and I loved it, I took whatever was left over home and the espadrilles are Beautiful, I wasn't sure whether to upgrade but in the end I decided and I don't regret it at all, now they are the most beautiful shoes in my closet 🩷 The hosts are beautiful, super loving and know a lot about the subject. I will surely repeat it in May when I come with my whole family 🤍thank you🤍

Alex the tour guide was great! Very personable, knowledgeable and friendly. The cigar & rum tasting was nice. The espardilla shoe making was very good expensive. We spent an additional $176 for two pairs. Their adorable but, definitely not worth the price. It was a fun experience but costly.

The experience was excellent. We loved every part of it. Alex was awesome. He was knowledgeable and very nice, which we loved. We tried some cigars and rum, and the espadrilles are amazing!! We would totally recommend this tour.

Loved it. Fun and unique. Out of the beaten path. Had done other experiences with them before. This one is very special. You get to keep for yourself, one premium cigar and a pair of espadrilles.

This was my first time in San Juan and I have to say that it was awesome! Alex was amazing and very welcoming, a total recomendation if you visit the city, it is a MUST DO experience!
