La Fortaleza Street

We will start by meeting at our shop in Calle La Fortaleza, one of the most famous areas in Old San Juan, where we will show you some hidden gems nearby. We will give you an introduction and start our tour. After meeting at our shop, we will head to our first stop, a family- owned traditional rum store renowned for its "Ron Añejo," our favorite in the entire island. We will taste different varieties while discussing San Juan and its culture. Then, at the same location, we will begin the cigar tasting. There we will learn to detect their quality and sample some local varieties. Afterwards, not far from there, we will have a little show with some drinks at an artisanal espadrille shop, the most traditional shoe from Spanish times. You will learn this tradition, try some pairs and even choose one classic espadrille for yourself (included in the price). We will turn the shop into a little party with music and drinks, all included! We will have around 3 hours of tour, during which we will taste traditional drinks, try quality cigars and get a pair of espadrilles, all within the price. Every stop on this experience is within walking distance. We also keep our groups small—never more than eight people—for a more personal and enjoyable experience. They will lead you through the area to show you the best spots for photos. Visit the Outdoors of San Cristobal Castle, a stunning spot with views of the sea. Admire the Colorful Houses, a perfect spot to take pictures on a sunny day. Stop in streets with amazing views, and at the Puerto Rico Flag doors, a famous spot for photos in the area. Lastly, walk to Fortaleza Street. Standing beneath the famous colorful umbrellas is an ideal spot to get the last of your photos. A few days after the tour the photographer will send you the photos of your day in Old San Juan.

Then, at the same location, we will learn how to make Piña Colada from the very beginning with some profesionals, for that purpose we will carve the pineapple and mix the rest of the ingredients of this refreshing drink. We will also dance and talk while we also taste some exclusive and homemade fruity rum. We will turn the visit into a little party with music and drinks, all included in the price! If you want to go beyond this, you can have our salsa masterclass edition workshop, in which besides all of the above, you will also enjoy an amazing class where you will learn the basics of salsa with a professional instructor. We will have around 3 hours of tour, during which we will taste traditional drinks and visit some emblematic places, all within the price! Bring your best smile and your interesting stories to share.
