Amazing walk! Really enjoyed it. I think it's quite tough if you're not used to hiking but achievable and everyone in our group managed well. Really fab way of seeing the mountains and getting out of the city for a bit. I would strongly recommend if you have a spare day in Granada. We went in June (30+ degrees in Granada) and there was still snow on the ground in the mountains which was deep in places and a lot of gravely rock so i would really recommend hiking boots/trail shoes. My partner just had trainers and although he managed it was much easier for me in shoes with good grip.

This was a memorable experience for sure! As many have said Jamie and his sidekick Kai are amazing. Jamie was very knowledgeable about the plants, animals, and geology of the area. The hike was a little harder than we expected but very very worth it. I would definitely wear boots and pants in case you have the opportunity to do some “skiing” on the descent. Highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys nature and doesn’t mind a hard hike

What a great day. Harry tailored it to my age, knees and heart condition (!) but we still made it to the top without to much puffing. The picnick in a little sheltered sun spot at 11000 feet was epic. Always have a stand by bottle opener to hand!! I logged 8.1 miles, 2,946 feet climb in 6 hours 30. Harry was a great guide and host and he has an incredible story to tell. Highly recommended

It was very pleasent experience! Jaime and his dog were very professional and knew their way around the mountains. The only little downside was that due to very windy weather we couldn't hike very high, but I was still very happy with the hike and the views that I saw. As stated in the description, you can do the hike in sneakers, but I would still highly recommend proper hiking shoes.
