Naoki was an absolute gem. The experience was very relaxing, mindful, spiritual and magical. My partner and I came out of the ceremony in a different state of mind. Naoki - we hope to see you achieve great things after university!

Full description

Upon arrival, you’ll step into a softly lit room where gentle candlelight replaces harsh overhead lights, creating a relaxing ambiance. Our host will greet you, store your belongings if needed, and briefly introduce the ceremony’s flow. Next, you’ll settle on comfortable seats and enjoy a welcome tea with accompanying sweets, letting the warm flavors guide your mind toward calm. Then, you’ll move to the main tearoom, designed to minimize distractions and heighten your awareness of subtle details, like the soothing sound of water simmering or the faint aroma of fresh matcha. The host will prepare each bowl of tea by purifying utensils, whisking the matcha, and presenting it with a graceful bow. You’ll lift the bowl gently, savor the tea’s nuanced taste, and notice the comforting warmth it provides. Throughout the session, feel free to observe quietly, ask questions, or simply enjoy the shared peacefulness with other guests. Each moment is meant to slow your pace, encouraging deeper gratitude for everyday beauty. Finally, you’ll receive a small, handmade candle to bring the calm atmosphere home. This entire journey, from first sip to final reflection, invites you to rediscover mindful presence in the midst of modern busyness.
