Full description

Origami is a traditional Japanese craft. With origami, various shapes such as plants and animals are created. Additionally, many of the patterns and motifs carry special meanings and wishes.
First, let's briefly introduce the world of origami. After that, using standard origami paper, let's try folding a "horse" or a "shuriken" (a ninja weapon – did you know about it?). Enjoy the simple charm of what can be created from a single sheet of paper.
Once you're comfortable with folding, we'll move on to folding a "kabuto" (a samurai helmet worn in battle) using precious Yuzen washi paper. Yuzen is a traditional Japanese dyeing technique used for kimono patterns, and Yuzen washi paper is handmade by artisans, making it a highly valuable material.
In Japan, it is a tradition to fold and display origami "kabuto" on Children's Day, May 5th, to pray for the healthy growth of children. Let's also fold the kabuto while wishing for the health and happiness of everyone around the world.
The folded kabuto can be framed and taken home as a piece of artwork. Additionally, as a special gift, you can choose one of two types of origami accessories to take home.
