She was very knowledgeable about the tea ceremony and spoke excellent English. It was a privilege to enjoy this ceremony and have a go at making macha tea
Our hosts gave us the opportunity to experience the tea ceremony in a Buddhist temple so it didn’t feel “touristy” at all. They taught us about the many aspects of the ceremony, its origins and meanings. Really excellent
