Our guide, Brenda, was awesome! She helped customize our 6 hour tour of Kyoto so we could see the things we wanted and surprised us with amazing photo spots during the blossom season. We booked the 2 hour walking guide.We were very flexible with what the guide has planned for us. If you are looking for an experience through Kyoto through the eyes of a local, then this is the tour to book. In 2hours our guide managed to squeeze in Kyoto Tower view and explained how to use the subway and bus. So this is a must for first timers in Kyoto. We walked through the Nishiki market and Shinkyogoku. By far the best tour guide. Thank you Taibi

I had a really great day with my guide Taibi, he contacted me first and had a plan in mind based on what I'd asked, he tailored this after a quick talk when we met and we set off, I was able to take as many photographs as I needed and with a real focus on my interests. He knows the city and area well, gets on with the locals too and provided me with many memorable photographs and made the day all the more pleasant with his conversation. I was even given recommendations and information for my upcoming travels. Really felt like I was treated and included as a close friend and not just a customer. It was a most memorable experience and birthday as well, and I hope to return to Kyoto before I leave Japan and intend to return in the future for a similar tour for the areas I did not manage to see.
