Start with a bang at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Kiyomizudera Temple, one of the most iconic architectural landmarks of Kyoto. Walk along the quaint streets of Sannenzaka, Ninenzaka, and Nene no Michi and view the traditional shophouses as you make your way to Kodaiji Temple. Built in memory of Toyotomi Hideyoshi’s wife, this temple features stunning zen gardens and lavish interiors.
