An excellent experience overall. Staff were very helpful, attentive and friendly, and lots of Kimonos & Yakuta’s to choose from. Bag storage for your personal belongings available which made it light and easy to explore Higashiyama District.

I loved the way it was organised, the guy made a what'sapp group chat and helped with finding the place. The garden was very secluded and tranquil. I loved the meditation with the short ceremony of drinking tea first. I would like more explanation about the tea in Japanese culture. It was good that we had time to ask the monk any questions about his life.

The package includes the kimono itself, the sash belt (obi), the Japanese clutch, the Japanese sandals, and the Japanese socks.(Yukata retanl includes the yukata itself, the sash belt (obi), the Japanese clutch, the Japanese sandals) Don't worry about hair styling, because that is also available (additional cost), as are accessories and make-up (also for an additional cost). Discover Kyoto in a fun and traditional way with this unique opportunity to try the clothing used at formal Japanese occasions such as weddings.

Initially a little hesitant to do this and so, so glad I did. Just getting dressed by the ladies was an amazing to experience the immense amount of time it takes to dress in a kimono. I had my hair done too and I really recommend it. I have some great photos to remember a truly wonderful experience going to a Tea Ceremony dressed in a beautiful kimono.
