very nice and welcoming host! very interesting and tasty!
The workshop is highly recommended for all people of all ages. The instructor was very helpful, easy to understand, clear in providing the steps, and kind. When I arrived, I was welcomed with a tea and sweet potato then proceeded to mixing and making the dango, mochi and dorayaki. She also provided some tips on where to buy the ingredients and happily answered all my other questions about wagashi. I ate what I made with a tea inside a washitsu while facing their beautiful garden. She also made matcha tea for me (tasted great!). I also brought home some of what I made because it was quite a lot :D . I learned a lot on how to make mochi (was apparently easy), dango and dorayaki. It was a great experience for me while on a holiday in Japan. Highly recommended workshop.
