Once upon a time, Kutná Hora was one of the most important cities in the Czech Kingdom, with the richest silver mines in Europe. Today, this uniquely preserved medieval town is one of the most important monuments of the Czech Republic, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Stroll through its well-preserved streets with a local guide and hear the history of the city. The day begins with pickup from your accommodation or a central meeting point in Prague. Drive in a comfortable, air-conditioned car approximately 1 hour to the first stop in Sedlec. A suburb of Kutná Hora, Sedlec is home to the early Gothic cathedral Assumption of Our Lady and St. John the Baptist. Destroyed in the 15th century during the Hussite Wars, the cathedral was beautifully rebuilt in the Baroque-Gothic style by Jan Blažej Santini in the 18th century. See the famous Kutná Hora ostensorium, standing at almost a meter high and made of five kilograms of pure silver. Admire the beautiful Baroque paintings and frescoes by Peter Brandl and the holy relics of St. Felix and St. Vincent in Baroque glass coffins. The full day spent with our friendly, funny and very knowledgable host Martin was just great. He had plenty of good anekdotes ( some surprisingly about the Rolling Stones) and was just a thrill of a guide. The group was small, and everything very well organized! The «Bone Church» is a bit underwellming, but the city was great - and Martin Made it all worth it. Would definitely recommend!

Tatiana nuestra guía fue increíble, fue como pasar la tarde con una amiga disfrutando de la ciudad y de la belleza de este rincón oculto de la República Checa. 10! Recomendado.
