It features hanging bridges and skywalks offering unparalleled views of the canyon below. Access to the bridges is available via a scenic 6 km trek or an adventurous off-roading taxi ride. Following Okatse Canyon, we proceed to the breathtaking Martvili Canyon. Here, we embark on a boat tour that navigates through the canyon, allowing us to explore its depths and admire stunning waterfalls. An optional zip line offers a thrilling aerial perspective of the canyon's beauty. After these exhilarating explorations, we take a leisurely break for lunch at a local restaurant, indulging in delicious Georgian cuisine and preparing for the the final part of the tour ahead. Our final stop is the magnificent Prometheus Cave, an underground marvel stretching 1.4 km and located 80 meters below the surface. After a scenic 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from Kutaisi, you will arrive in Chiatura, a town steeped in industrial history and nestled in a dramatic valley. Here, you will have the opportunity to meet with a local guide, an expert well-versed in the stories, history, and hidden gems of Chiatura. Visit to Katskhi Pillar (1 hour) As you observe the Katskhi Pillar, the sheer scale and beauty of this natural wonder become evident, offering a moment of reflection on the incredible feats of early Christian ascetics who sought solitude and spiritual elevation in such remote and challenging locations. Mghvimevi Cave Monastery, (40 minutes ) Set aside 40 minutes to immerse yourself in the serene and spiritual ambiance of the Mghvimevi Cave Monastery, a historical and religious treasure located near the town of Chiatura in Georgia. Chiatura Cable Cars and Viewpoint (1 hour) Following the cable car ride, visit the Chiatura Viewpoint, a vantage point that presents a breathtaking panoramic view of the town. In the morning, our guide will meet you at the meeting point and you will start a tour of beautiful natural monuments near Kutaisi! First, you will visit Martvili Canyon, enjoying views of the mountain river, natural stone bridges & waterfalls. One of the top highlights at Martvili Canyon is the short boat ride (approx. 15 min.) in the turquoise river, where you'll enjoy close views of the canyon & maybe spot fishes in the clear river water. Note: Boat service doesn't work if the water level is too high or the currents are too strong, usually it could happen in spring or after heavy rain. You will drive to the Okatse Canyon, here you will hike approximately 2.5 km from the ticket office to the canyon entrance, on a stone paved road through Duke's Dadiani forest. You will walk 900 steps on a panoramic hanging bridge & enjoy views of nature, especially in the spring and summer seasons, surrounded by lush green forest. After taking beautiful photos and a short rest on the panoramic bridge, you will continue hiking back 2.5 km approximately to the car. Note: You can rent a 4x4 vehicle for an extra fee from the visitor center to the canyon entrance if you don't wish to hike, but will have to wait for the rest of the group at the visitor center. After visiting the canyon, you will have the possibility to have a traditional Georgian sweets "Churchkhela" masterclass free of charge (if the local Churchkhela factory will be open). You will take the car to the spectacular Prometheus cave, where you will walk in a beautiful stalactite and stalagmite cave on an easy 1,5-kilometer route with impressive natural halls, here the group will be accompanied by the local guide, who will tell us in detail about the cave. Before returning to Kutaisi you will have a short stop at once famous and now-abandoned Tskaltubo Sanatorium or a bathhouse where Soviet leaders once used to relax (please keep in mind that some Tskaltubo sanatoriums are being sold and entrance might be restricted). After an active day, in the evening you will come back to Kutaisi, drop of at the meeting point.

Kumistavi owes a famous legend about Amirani for the sonorous naming of the “Cave of Prometheus.”The legend says that Amirani, like Prometheus, angered the Gods and was punished brutally.The eagle tormented him, eating his liver; however, unlike the Greek giant, cruel Gods were chained.Amirani, not to the rock, but inside a massive cave.Khvamli Mountain is visible from Prometheus Cave, where the legend says Prometheus was chained.Spectacular views of stalactites, stalagmites, petrified waterfalls, underground rivers, and cave lakes. Martvili Natural Canyon is located in Martvili Municipality. Visitor centre: Village “Inchkhuri”. 700m circle stone pavement starts from the visitor centre and goes through Dadiani historical track. There are located 2 bridges, 3 view platforms, a 30-step historical staircase built by the big limestone boulder. The visitors can saunter by boat on the river “Abasha” 300 m. long distance and get the pleasure of viewing the beautiful landscape of the Canyon.

Tour starts at 09:00 from our office in Kutaisi. Firstly, we drive up to Bagrati cathedral that overlooks the city. It was built in 11th century as a symbol of united Georgia. Afterwards we move to Gelati monastery of 12th century. There are 3 big churches, an academy, grave of David the builder, bell tower and houses of monks in the complex. It was built by the greatest Georgian King David The Builder. Then we move to Motsameta monastery that is related to story of tortured brother lords David and Constantine Mkheidze. It’s built on the cliff and is surrounded by the river from 3 sides. The nature and colors around monastery are amazing. Our tour finishes at 12:00 at the central square.

After that enjoyable experience, we proceed to Borjomi Central Park, where we have the chance to taste the famous mineral water from the springs. Following a walk in the park, we make our way to Rabati Castle. Here, we explore the medieval fortress with a local guide who shares insights into its history and structure. For lunch, we make a pit stop at a local restaurant. Our final destination is Vardzia – the City of Caves. Once we've thoroughly explored all the rooms of the complex, we head back to Kutaisi, having had a day filled with fascinating discoveries.
