During our cruise, we booked this tour just 16 hours in advance and the organization was excellent from the very beginning. Our guide Neslie reached out to us shortly after the booking, showing great kindness and availability. We visited Ephesus, Temple of Artemis, and House of Mary. Everything was perfectly timed. Neslie was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable, she managed to engage a very mixed group (only some of whom spoke English) with great empathy and attention. She made a special connection with our 11-year-old daughter, who immediately took a liking to her gentle manner and warm explanations. A pleasant surprise was the Ephesus Experience, an interactive part included in the entrance ticket. The tour included a traditional Turkish lunch in a beautiful shaded garden in a venue where handmade carpets are produced. We discovered Turkey through the words of Neslie deeply in love with her country. Impeccable organization, a wonderful guide, fascinating places. Highly recommended!

Transfer to Ephesus and wander among the stunning ruins with a local guide, and see sites such as the Odeon Theatre, which could seat up to 1,400 spectators in its heyday. Admire beautiful Roman statues and decorations carved into marble slabs at the Pollio Fountain.

Other highlights include the Celcius Library, completed by the Romans in 117AD. Admire the building’s awe-inspiring façade of columns, statues, and intact windows. Finally, explore the Greek Temple of Artemis, to see one of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World.

Please note that your tour guide will meet you at the exit of the immigration gate of Kusadasi Cruise Port. Look out for a sign with your name written on it. Our guides will be ready and waiting for you half an hour before your selected meeting time. If you happen to exit earlier, kindly wait at the designated guide meeting area.

  • Discounts are available for children under 11 years old. Please bring their passports or ID card to show upon entering the museum and attractions. If you don’t have ID, they may be charged full adult price
  •  There is no obligation to cover your head or shoulders in Ephesus. You may wear shorts and T-shirts in summer. For the House of the Virgin Mary a pashmina will be adequate cover
