Hierapolis was built in the 2nd century B.C. by the King of Pergamon and became a Roman city. The city was famous for several important sanctuaries and also as an important trade center. Hierapolis was famous for purple dye and cloth making and it is still famous for textile products.

It was nice to have free time but would have liked more of a guided tour and historical information. It also took an hour to pick up 3 other groups within the kusadasi area. It sounded like it was a scheduling issue with the vendor. The guide Eren was very nice but again wished to have more of a guided tour instead of mostly only free time.

Die Tour war sehr angenehm gestaltet. Wir waren zu 5. auf einer Privattour unterwegs und haben ebenfalls zusätzliche Aktivitäten machen können. Z.b. Paragliting, entspanntes Mittagessen, kleine Stopps an Feldern. Alles in allem war es eine sehr schöne Tour. Verbesserungsmöglichleiten gibt es bei der Wissensvermittlung. An sich hätte man mehr über Land/Leute/Geschichtlichen Hintergründe oder der Entstehung der einzelnen Attraktionen nennen können.

Me and my family, we have had the private Pamukkale tour from Kusadasi to Pamukkale. The tour was excellent, thank to our tour guide that gave us informative and unforgetabele tour in Pamukkale and we had time also to have swimming in Cleopatra swimming pool in Pamukkale. Everything was great. Highly recommend this tour!!!!
