4 to 5 hours Ephesus, The House of Virgin Mary, and Artemission Temple on a guided tour. ( Skip the lines )

Your guide will have your name sign at the Kusadasi Cruise terminal exit just after you pass customs. Hotel guests (with the private option only) will be picked up from their hotel lobby.

Please note that pick up time ( usually 30 minutes after your cruise arrival ) will be emailed with in 24 hours after your reservation. If you miss this email, please do not forget to contact with us for pick up time.

After meeting your guide, drive to the House of the Virgin Mary, located in the Aladag Mountains, 5 miles away from Ephesus. Visit Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of the Ionian League, an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor, located near Izmir. As a port city, it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor.

Walk through its historic marble streets lined with historic public buildings like the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus, the Temple of Hadrian, and the Grand Theater. Stop at Artemission Temple, which used to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, as your last stop before driving back to Kusadasi town center.

This was one of our favorite tours. Our guide, Emre was excellent. We were a small group of 8. We were two families who vacationed together. The Virgin Mary’s house was a spiritual experience. The ruins were also good. Emre made it a personal and pleasurable experience. Our driver was also good. We also got to visit a family owned ceramic store which was incredible. They were very friendly and had beautiful pieces. We all purchased a treasure. Then we went for leather and were treated to a personal fashion show. Again, great shopping and experience. I recommend this tour highly and if Emre is your guide you are in for a great tour.

The Ephesus tour was outstanding. Our guide was SO informative and was so nice. We truly enjoyed our experience there and at the Virgin Mary house. We could have done without the hard sell at the carpet making place but otherwise a lovely lovely day.

We had a private tour and the guide was Selda. She's enthusiast about her country and her job and it shows. Very competent and interesting explanations. Everything was planned very well. We were asked if interested in visiting any shop, pottery, leather and so on. We were not and there wasn't any kind of push. During the visit we had plenty of time for pictures and rest. Recommended.
