Booed this myself and was really easy. Great communication about details of when and where. Excellent day. Skyrail was spectacular, Kuranda is a quaint village and train journey back also spectacular with informative commentary. Highly recommend this day out and both activities.

We all absolutely adored this trip. The beauty of the forest seen from the skyrail is really worthwhile. We all enjoyed the train journey. My daughter left her bag and purse on the coach and the driver so thoughtfully put it in the office for us to retrieve a couple of days later. He was also such a gentle and careful driver and guide. I would highly recommend this excursion. (remember to book a Barron river cruise, too)

The best part was the gondola over the rainforest, which goes by way too fast! Depending on how busy it is, you may have to share the a car with strangers - at least the first leg. Walking around the shops up top in Kuranda was fun with some neat local finds (although many “authentic” items are made in Singapore or China) - a total tourist trap. The butterfly refuge was pretty neat to see how they are feeding and their conservation efforts. The train ride down was SUPER long and BLAZING HOT inside without any ventilation, so be aware of that on a hot day. The history along the way down was neat to learn about though.
