The Skyrail made me a little nervous but once I got to the top and seen all those village shops, I was in love. You have to plan extra time, 3 hours is not enough. We ended up driving up to Kuranda a couple of days later on our own, because we ran out of time the day off the skyrail, without seeing everything that we wanted to see.

The day trip to Kuranda was definitely worth it! A beautiful and informative train ride to the town where you can then stroll among the beautiful markets and visit various sights. (The butterfly garden was very beautiful). The trip back was by skyrail. Which was also a unique experience!

Another Bucket List item completed. Train trip was pleasant, views were at times spectacular, the history commentary about the railway was excellent. Kuranda township was worth the visit and the Skyrail back was wonderful. Both the rail trip and Skyrail should be a must.

it was informative and exciting to take the train up to Karunda then to explore before taking the skyrail back down

Well planned as everything happened as the guide (Victor) said it would.
