Enjoy an unforgettable safari day in Etosha National Park, guided by a passionate professional who was born and raised in Etosha. The tour begins at park opening time, with departure from Anderson Gate, near Okaukuejo. Free, secure, and easily accessible parking is available on-site, allowing travelers to drive themselves directly. It is highly recommended to meet at Anderson Gate in your own vehicle, as this allows you to be among the first vehicles to enter the park and avoids unnecessary delays or fuel consumption. Mornings in Etosha can be very cold, especially in an open vehicle. It is strongly advised to bring warm clothing, especially during the winter months (May to August). The safari is conducted in an open 4x4 vehicle, specially designed for wildlife viewing. The route is not fixed: it is adapted daily based on weather conditions and the latest animal sightings, to maximize your chances of seeing Etosha’s iconic species—elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, rhinos, springboks, oryx, and sometimes even leopards or cheetahs. A one-hour midday break is planned at a restaurant inside the park. You are free to bring your own lunch or dine at the restaurant (meals not included). The second part of the safari continues in the afternoon after lunch. Throughout the day, your guide will share in-depth knowledge of the park, its wildlife, and ecosystem, based on personal lifelong experience in the region. The activity ends in the late afternoon, returning to Anderson Gate or your lodge if previously arranged. Please bring cash to pay for the park entrance fee, which is not included in the safari price. For guests already staying inside the park (Okaukuejo Lodge or Okaukuejo Camp): if we have no other clients scheduled to enter the park that day, you will need to come to Anderson Gate yourself, as we cannot collect guests inside the park without prior clearance. For departures from Halali, bookings must be made at least 48 hours in advance, and you must contact us directly via WhatsApp. A NAD 1,500 surcharge is payable directly to the guide. For departures from Namutoni Gate, booking is also required 48 hours in advance, with a NAD 3,000 surcharge. For all half-day bookings, no pick-up is possible — you must meet directly at Anderson Gate.

Meal Plan: breakfast & lunch, with overnight camping in Swakomund. Day 4: This morning, we will embark on a long journey to Etosha National Park, we will dedicate a half day game drive. Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with overnight camping at Toshari Lodge or a similar option, subject to availability. Day 5: Today is dedicated to exploring the abundant wildlife of Etosha National Park with a full-day game drive. Focusing on waterholes, where wildlife congregates, both early morning and late afternoon drives are recommended for optimal viewing. Your meals and overnight stay will once again be provided at Toshari Lodge or similar accommodations. Day 6: We commence our return journey to Windhoek, with a stopover in Okahandja Wood Carving. Anticipate arriving at your preferred hotel or lodge in Windhoek late in the afternoon, marking the conclusion of your memorable journey. Breakfast and lunch are included. No accommodation.

You then depart Windhoek in your safari vehicle with your private tour guide and you arrive late afternoon in Etosha National Park. Overnight: Namutoni Wildlife Resort or similar Meal Basis: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Day 2: Namutoni to Okaukuejo (Etosha National Park) This morning you will need to rise early for a magical wildlife encounter’s experience with your guide in the famous Etosha National Park, setting off before sunrise with luck on your side, you will observe nocturnal animals in the early mornings. Overnight: Okaukuejo Wildlife Resort or similar Meal Basis: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Day 3: Okaukuejo Area to Swakopmund (West Coastal Area) After a morning breakfast, you depart to the charming coastal town of Swakopmund. The drive today takes you southwest through awesome and ever-changing landscapes passing through some small settlement towns of Kamanjab, Uis. You will meet the ocean at the coastal town of Henties Bay and then continue south to Swakopmund where you can enjoy the pleasant seaside location and cooler coastal air for your next two nights. Overnight: Swakopmund Sands Hotel or similar Meal Basis: Breakfast (lunch and dinner on own account) Day 4: Swakopmund/West Coast Today is a free day. The idea is to allow time for everybody to do their own thing. Swakopmund is a very pleasant seaside town with lots of shops, a good stretch of beach (although the Atlantic here is quite cold) and an open-air curio market. There are various optional activities that can be arranged. Your tour guide will discuss all the possible options with you before you reach Swakopmund and will offer to make bookings in advance of your arrival. Overnight: Swakopmund Sands Hotel or similar Meal Basis: Breakfast (lunch and dinner on own account) Day 5: Swakopmund to Sesriem (Namib Desert) Today after breakfast we depart to the southern region of the Namib Naukluft Park, the Kuiseb Canyon, and the Gaub Pass before we stop for lunch at a remote settlement named Solitaire. After lunch you continue driving to reach your overnight accommodation. You arrive at the accommodation in the afternoon. Overnight: Dead Valley Lodge or similar Meal Basis: Breakfast, Dinner and Lunch Day 6: Sesriem to Sossusvlei and then to Windhoek city This morning you will need to rise early for a magical excursion with your guide in the Namib Naukluft National Park, normally setting off before sunrise to capture the dunes whilst the light is soft, and shadows accentuate the towering shapes and curves. After lunch you then depart to Windhoek city. Expect to arrive in the city at around 15:30pm, although please note that times may vary.

Day 1 Arrival Windhoek, Namibia On arrival at Windhoek Airport, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. The rest of the afternoon will be spent exploring Windhoek city historical sites on a guided tour from 12pm - 4pm. We will make our way towards the Namib Naukluft National Park to our accommodation for the next two nights. Overnight: Sossusvlei Taleni Lodge Standard Rooms Meals: Breakfast and Dinner Day 3 A day in the Dunes We have an early morning wake up, have tea and coffee and drive to visit the world’s highest sand dunes at Sossusvlei and Dead-vlei. First stop is DUNE 45, we hike up for sunrise. Then we will drive to Deadvlei and Big Daddy Dunes as well as Sossusvlei. We are back at the lodge for lunch at 12pm Overnight: Sossusvlei Taleni Lodge Standard Rooms Meals: Breakfast and Dinner Day 4 Namib Naukluft National Park to Swakopmund, Namibia The day is spent driving through the Namib Naukluft National Park on our way to Swakopmund. Overnight: The Delight Lodge Meals: Breakfast Rooms: Standard Rooms Day 5 Enjoy Swakopmund, Namibia Enjoy activities in Swakopmund where you will have the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere of this quaint, little German town and enjoy its beauty and beaches. Overnight: The Delight Lodge Meals: Breakfast Rooms: Standard Rooms Day 6 Swakopmund to Damaraland After breakfast, depart southwards towards the coast and on your way meet the locals of the Himba and Damara tribes You will stop at a Himba village on your way to your lodge in Damaraland Overnight: Twyfelfontein Country Lodge Lodge Standard Rooms Meals: Breakfast & Dinner Day 7 Desert Elephants and Historical Damaraland. After breakfast , you are taken to explore and enjoy a morning activity as we drive along the guab river searching for desert elephants and lions. Overnight: Twyfelfontein Country Lodge Lodge Standard Rooms Meals: Breakfast & Dinner Day 8 Etosha National Park After breakfast we depart our lodge to visit a Damara tribe village museum from 9am - 10am. In the afternoon we will enter the Etosha National Park. Overnight: Okaukuejo Bush Chalets, Etosha National Park Standard Rooms Meals: Breakfast Day 9 Etosha 4x4 Safaris We have the opportunity to spend the day on 2 game drives.
