Skip the lines at the Petronas Towers and head to the Observation Deck and Skybridge for panoramic views of the city and then see Kuala Lumpur from…
What people are saying about Kuala Lumpur Tower
A good way to spend an hour or so viewing KL from a different perspective (as opposed to the Petronas viewing bridge); able to identify certain areas with ease. The SkyBox experience was good (view and photos opportunities), but could have been made better by the ‘attendant/guide/security person’ who needed to adopt a more professional attitude to his job and actually organise a queuing system, which could do with some signs (i.e. ‘queue this way’). Would be good if the restaurants offered a walk-in service, rather than a pre-booked table. If your not a Malaysian, be careful of using KL Tower’s own ticketing service as they charge more if you’re a tourist, unclear rationale. Overall, if you’re interested in/awed by feats of engineering and like architecture then do make a visit.
Our visit to the Petronas Tiwers was excellent, staff were efficient, polite and highly professional. The whole experience was amazing particularly when we got to the highest public observation point. Breathtaking. In complete contrast KL Tower required an extra payment on arrival to climb to the top! In addition staff were uninterested in the needs of visitors more interested in eating noodles and chatting than ensuring the lifts were properly attended or in explaining anything about the building. In balance the draw of walking on the glass floor at the top of the KL doesn't justify the cost and the view back at the Petronas towers is the only reason to go up the KL Tower.
The views from the top of this communication tower are truly amazing. There us something here for all ages to be educated and entertained. Book a place for the revolving restaurant for a really special moment in time
Sky box was brilliant even though im scared of heights it was great. Didnt really both with shops or theatre tbh. The walk up the hill was painful get a cab if possible
We booked the tickets on-line, better to be 15 minutes before. Good organized, fantastic. The steel and glass facade, Sky Bridge, Observation deck ....
