Full description
This 4-hour tour is your opportunity to visit and take photos of the most iconic sites in Kuala Lumpur, such as the King’s Palace, Independence Square, the Petronas Twin Towers, the National Mosque, the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, and more. See magnificent Merdeka Square, a symbol of Malaysian independence and one of the most picturesque squares in the world. Admire architectural masterpieces of modern and ancient times. You’ll see the King’s Palace, the famous Istana Negara, a residence of the King of Malaysia. While visitors can’t enter the building, you can take photos of the fascinating architecture along with the changing of the guards, which occurs hourly. The Petronas Twin Towers are an ideal place for a spectacular selfie. The Towers are justifiably considered a highlight of a trip to Kuala Lumpur, as they present an opportunity to marvel at the city’s skyline and capture unforgettable moments on camera. You’ll also visit the National Mosque. Built in 1965, Masjid Negara is located in the very heart of the city amid lush green gardens. Admire one of the most elegant buildings in Kuala Lumpur, featuring a spectacular main dome covered in green and blue tiles, and the 48 smaller green domes spread across the Mecca-inspired courtyard. The Chinese Thean Hou Temple is beautiful synergy of styles as Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism join to form an unforgettable architectural ensemble. See numerous statues of animals from astrology and impressive statues of the Goddess of Mercy and the Goddess of the Waterfront. See Lake Gardens, a beautiful and calming getaway from the bustle of the city. Visit the National Museum, home to collections of ancient and modern art pieces, weapons, and traditional costumes. Marvel at the exquisite façade of the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, an ideal setting for a photo op, with its fairytale-like towers and mix of Eastern and Western architectural styles. Also known as Tugu Negara, the National Monument commemorates the lives that were lost in the fight for Malaysian independence. Designed by Felix de Weldon, an American architect, this monument is the highest sculpture grouping made of bronze ever created. At the end of the tour you’ll be taken back to your hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned van.

Our driver/guide-lovely man called "CIGAR"-was absolutely brilliant. He was a mine of information and was so helpful to my wife and I in every way. We were so sorry when the tour was over. I also left my video camera in his car, but CIGAR was so good in delivering the camera to our hotel. Please pass on our sincere thanks to this lovely man. Patrick Cooney.

We booked the 12 noon trip as we'd had a long flight the day before from the UK but at 9.30am we had a call from hotel reception to say our driver was waiting in reception! We certainly weren't ready for the trip then and asked the driver to sort it out. We didn't hear anything else so. hoping at was just a hiccup, went to front of hotel at 12. We weren't let down. Our driver, Segar (and I'm sorry if I've spelt that wrong) was there waiting for us. He escorted us into the air conditioned mini bus and offered bottled water. The rest of the day was fabulous. We were the only people on the bus so had our own personal driver/tour guide for the day. He took us to all the main tourist sites giving an informed and interesting commentary wherever we went. The 4 hour trip turned into 5 and a half and absolutely worth that we paid. Not having been to Kuala Lumpur before this was an ideal way to get a feel and understanding of the place. Big thank you to Segar for making it extra special!

Although it was meant to be a group tour, I was the only one that day and had a VIP service (with no extra cost) This was excellent because Sigar, my guide, asked me what I wanted to see the most and let me stay in some places for longer. So we visited the Batu Caves, Thean Hou Temple, Royal Palace, flag monument, National Mosque, Train Station, war memorial and ended the tour at the Petronia Twin Towers. Sigar was very friendly and taught me a lot about Malaysian culture, habits and history, He also took lots of photos for me! :-) This was a great day and I'm glad to have booked this tour.
