Full description

This tour will take you to Kuala Selangor in the quiet hamlet where one of the largest firefly colonies in the world exists. When you arrive, you'll visit Kota Melawati, formerly known as Fort Altingsburg, with its old execution block, royal mausoleum and colonial buildings. You'll experience the highlight of the tour with the sparkly display looks like an endless row of Christmas trees, but the synchronized, rhythmic flashing is actually produced by thousands of fireflies. Next, watch the amazing Blue Tears phenomenon. In the legend of the Sea Dragon King, The King left his tears scattered on the sea. At arrival of the night, these small pearls flashing blue light, the formation of blue tears. ITINERARY: •Pickup from selected Hotels/Residences/Suite in Kuala Lumpur City's Golden Triangle area (except Pudu area) •Arrive at Kota Melawati (formerly known as Fort Altingsburg) **Weekday by walking tour (15-20 mins to Bukit Melawati), Weekend with Tram service** •Depart to restaurant in Kuala Selangor •Enjoy local seafood restaurant - set dinner •Depart to Jetty for registration •Boarding & observe fireflies and blue tears •Depart back to Kuala Lumpur •Drop off at the same locations where pick-ups occurred The order of activities are subjected to weather conditions, human traffic and may be rearranged to best meet operational needs
