What people are saying about Krasi, Crete

What a great trip! Miranos is an incredible guide. Before this we had been to and Athens, and Santorini, and had a wonderful time in those places, but this tour felt like actually seeing Greece. Miranos is very well versed in all the history of not just the areas you see but the island as a whole. What he fails to mention in the description of the tour is the beautiful scenery, and small villages you drive through. After this tour I now consider myself a connoisseur of olive oil, and will be very picky about what I buy when my supply runs out. He not only knows the history of the buildings, but how the people live their lives. He has family in the area and is very knowledgeable about how they live. Ask him questions. Another plus is his wife makes incredible cookies! The best way to describe this tour is that it feels like you are going to meet a friend who is showing you around his hometown.

Our guide Marinos put a lot of passion into the matter and provided a lot of information. He was able to answer all of the tour participants' questions in detail and was also a safe driver. It was important to Marinos to create a group feeling among the participants with a lot of humor. The tour provided numerous highlights such as a visit to the olive oil factory, a raki tasting, a great location for lunch, as well as a visit to the Zeus Cave and of course Knossos! This excursion with the guide Marinos can only be recommended.

The excursion was very nice and also informative. We were explained the many herbs and dishes of Crete. We had a coffee in a nice family restaurant and were allowed to look behind the scenes in the kitchen. Knossos was our conclusion, which was of course great. On this excursion, our guide also provided us with fresh fruit, homemade cookies from his wife and water. Simply super tasty and warm. I would definitely book the next tour through this provider again! Thank you very much for this super nice day!!!

The driver and his well planned tour were amazing!!! Everything was great, with enough time at each spot, it will likely adjust depending on the season, (we stopped to pick some strawberries to snack on...), lunch was extra at a restaurant but well worth it. He recommended an off menu lamb dish that was one of my favorite of the trip so far. Great, energetic tour guide, with lots of local knowledge.

This day trip was phenomenal! Literally the best tour we had in Greece. We were able to truly enjoy authentic Greek traditions and see things off the beaten path. Our guide was amazing and really showed his love of Crete and his culture. Highly recommend!!!!
