A VERY thorough museum about the history of Krakow before, during, and following the war. However, it is a bit misleading to call it the Oskar Schindler museum because the section about his legacy is small and at the very end. By the time I got there I was so tired I had to speed through--I had already spent over 2 hours there!

Make sure you go on a guided tour as you won’t really understand what’s it about if you just walk around without one..we had a krakow born (but a Australian speaking as he moved abroad as a youngster only to come back home later) guide who was brilliant and informative.

Museum is a record of Krakow before, during and after the Second World War rather than just Schindler (which is a small part) but is set out brilliantly in a timeline. The Museum is in part of the factory but this isn't a Schindler Museum, which we knew before we went and were happy with this.
