What People Are Saying About Krakow
The guide was knowledgeable and managed to place the Wawel castle in a historical perspective. Highly appreciated.
Castle tour takes in the state rooms and there is no information at all in the rooms themselves so you have no idea what you are looking at otherwise. Tapestries were incredible. Very different sort of castle. You can do the chapel for free afterwards. However, I paid extra for the boat trip which was terrible. There wasn't even a clear sign as to which boat we were to go on and only for a helpful lady selling boat tickets for another company we would not have found it. Plus nothing to see of any interest on the river and the audio guide is rubbish. Save your time and money!
We were met as expected outside the factory. Our guide was well informed and courteous. I am sure she had her patience tested by one person in the party who clearly had trouble with deciding which planet he was on. Splendid museum
The Schindler Factory museum is great, and tour beneficial. The chronological layout of the museum provides an excellent and understandable history of an awful time in Kraków. The only negative is that it is popular so crowded.
