We enjoyed the tour and learnt some interesting historical facts that we may have missed by doing it ourselves. Our guide was very passionate about Krakow and the history of the Polish people. Our main criticism would be that there was no time allocated to look at the interactive displays and our group sometimes got in the way of self guided tours. The history seemed a bit muddled in terms of what, when and who but that may have been the way the museum was laid out. If booki g through Get Your Guide you aren't allowed into the museum until your guide takes you down (it can be chilly at the top of the entrance on the square). Also there are large baskets where you can store rucksacks etc while touring the museum.

We loved this experience! Our guide was so lovely, engaging, spoke wonderful English and had so much knowledge of this expedition, polish history and events. I felt that if we had gone round the museum on our own we would not have got the same out of it. Really felt amazed by this museum. A must visit for sure :) and although I cannot remember our guides name I would like to thank her for the wonderful knowledge that she shared with us.

This was an amazing start to our trip! Our tour guide was so lovely and had a very good knowledge of the museum and history of Krakow, her English was superb too. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone, I don’t think we would have come out of the museum with the knowledge that we had learnt if we had gone round ourselves.
