Had a great experience with a fantastic guide Phil who got everyone involved. We had briefly walked round the Ghetto on our own but felt we were missing out on information. So booked this last minute and was not disappointed. Phil was very informative and the extra bonus of him bringing photographs of how it used to be gave us a better insight rather than imagination. We would highly recommend this tour. Short but sweet!! But definitely worth the money. Thanks Phil we went to the old paint factory bar and had a lovely few drinks something we would have missed if it had not been for you. Stephen,Andrew & Joanne x

Full description

During World War II, the Poguzhe district was the site of a Jewish Ghetto. 75 years after the end of the war, the district still keeps this heritage alive. The area serves to remind visitors of the horrors of war and the need to prevent such things from happening again.

Visit the famous Plac Bohaterów Getta (Ghetto Heroes' Square), where Jewish inhabitants of Krakow were identified and sent off to concentration camps. See a fragment of the original ghetto wall, which now serves as a monument and place of pilgrimage for many Jewish people visiting from abroad. Continue to the buildings where thousands of displaced Jews used to live in cramped conditions. The final stop will be the famous "Under the Eagle" pharmacy.

Easily found as signage told you what company,what language and what time booking was.Very helpful group meeter . Guide was very knowledgeable and explained how trip would go,what we would be seeing.
