Full description
Discover Krakow's famous former Jewish Quarter in a more intimate setting with this private tour. After meeting your experienced local tour guide, start off by wandering down Szeroka Street, which was the centre of social life for the Jewish community in centuries gone by.  As you walk through Krakow's streets, visit several of its magnificent and stunning synagogues, including the Old Synagogue, Remuh Synagogue and Isaak Synagogue with the old Jewish cemetery and Krakow's 'Wall of Tears'. After taking in some of the city's beautiful synagogues, head to the streets of the former Jewish Quarter, which you may recognize from Steven Spielberg's 1993 film 'Schindler's List'.  The final part of the tour will take part in Krakow's former Jewish Ghetto. Explore some of the key locations, such as Ghetto Heroes Square, the infamous Eagle's Pharmacy, which was owned by the ghetto's only non-Jewish resident, and Oskar Schindler's factory, which contains an exhibition about Krakow during the Nazi occupation.
