An amazing day, very well organised, however due to the pick up time needing to be 3hrs earlier (as we'd need to queue when we arrived for just under 2hrs) but the drop off time staying the same, it was a very long 14hr trip with a lot of waiting around when there and between sites. It was Easter week though, hence why it was so busy. It didn't spoil my daughter's or my love of the history and the passion of the guide though, she was awesome. The bus was very clean and modern and the driver was really pleasant. Would recommend.
Very good, but be prepared to wait in some long lines! But that is not the fault of the tour, it’s just the way it is- def worth it. No need to bring anymore than a snack or two, they give a sack lunch and there is a nice cafeteria there. Look out for departure time changes- originally we were set to leave three hours after we ended up departing for Auschwitz. However, it is all for the best because they are accounting for the long lines if they see it will be extra busy. From start to finish, it lasted about 11 hours, so keep the day free. I enjoyed the self guided tour, as it allowed me to go at my own pace, and there are many resources there for a comprehensive experience. Overall a very meaningful and profound way to spend a day. Some tips: check the weather and bring sunscreen, and the earlier the better! We left at 6am and it was definitely the way to go.
