Alicka (sp?) was wonderful! She met us promptly, took us to the market with a ‘Polish cheat sheet’ & helped us choose the ingredients. Then we took a tram back to her home and she showed us step by step how to make the pierogies. We did all the steps with her guidance and made so many delicious pierogies for our lunch. As a bonus she also purchased poppyseed cake and traditional polish beer which was a delicious dessert. Not only do we feel confident we can do it at home but we felt like we spent an afternoon with a friend learning to do this. Excellent time! It was perfect!

The Best Day in Krakow ever!

What a lovely experience! Anna, our hostess was charming and welcoming. We very much enjoyed our shopping for the ingredients and the cooking experience was terrific also. How kind it was of Anna to welcome us to her home and treat us as honoured guests. We felt really special. And I was not expecting the feast we were to enjoy later - not just the pierogi but smoked cheeses, nibbles, beers and desserts - what’s not to like! Thank you Anna and Urban Adventure for a day to remember.
