From Krakow: Wieliczka Salt Mine Guided Tour (Hotel Pick-up)

Jerry was an excellent driver, his communication prior to the tour was excellent and during the trip he shared information and facts about Krakow! Our guide for the Salt Mine was Nikolai, and he was enthusiastic and knowledgable about the history of the mine! Both Jerry and Nikolai were very passionate about Poland and this came across strongly throughout the tour! On our return journey back to Krakow, Jerry drove through the Jewish Quarter and shared some of the history from this area during WW2 with us. We would highly recommend this trip!

We would definitely recommend this trip. There were only 8 people and meant it was very personal. Our tour guide Gerry was excellent - he picked us up from our hotel promptly before picking up another family of 4. During the whole trip he was very informative about areas in krakow as well as giving us a brief outline of the history of the Wieliczka Salt Mines. After we parked he took us to a skip the line area and we’re handed over to Martin our guide in the mine. The mines are fantastic! Well worth a visit. Gerry picked us up at the end. The other family were going for a tour of the Schindler’s Factory. The tour usually ends up back at our hotel but we asked Gerry to drop us off before then in the Jewish Quarter. He was very obliging and enroute told us a bit about the history of the Jewish ghetto and the Jewish quarter. A great trip with a great guide!
