Our tour guide, Michael, was amazing. He made the 2 hour journey there and back entertaining, filled us with knowledge that we wouldn’t have received anywhere else and always made sure we were well looked after. Auschwitz and birkenau was the most moving and incredible experience my family have been through. Birkenau’s original state, including the female quarters was the most eye opening. For those of you who are contemplating doing this trip, I urge you to do it - you will not regret it.

It was an excellent trip, well organised and very interesting. Would have given 5 stars but we got stuck getting through the security process at Auschwitz and got left behind by the tour guide. However the site staff and our driver quickly got us united back into our tour group.
