Full description

Visit both Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Wieliczka Salt Mine on a tour with entry tickets, skip-the-line access, a licensed guide, transportation from Krakow, and an optional lunch. Explore artifacts of the concentration camp before venturing 700 steps underground at the mine. Arrive at Auschwitz Museum for an approximately 3.5-hour visit. The tour is divided into two parts: Auschwitz I (2 hours) and Birkenau (1 hour), with transportation between the camps included. See the main gate with the inscription Arbeit Macht Frei (work sets you free) as you enter inside.

Contemplate the brick barracks, prisoner artifacts, photographs, reconstructions of the complex, and the remaining gas chambers and crematories. Continue to Birkenau to see the wooden blocks and the ruins of the chambers and crematoria while learning about the history of Nazi Germany. The Wieliczka Salt Mine visit will be approximately 3 hours. The underground journey involves descending 700 steps and covers a distance of 3 km. Renowned as one of the most beautiful mines in the world, the mine features two lakes and the Chapel of the Blessed Saint Kinga.

As visitas aos campos de concentração foram excepcionais e devia ser uma visita obrigatória para toda a gente. É uma experiência emocionalmente muito forte mas vale a pena. A visita ás minas de sal também foi muito boa e surpreendente, visto que não estava a espera do que ia ver. Foi tudo muito bem organizado e o almoço também correspondeu às expectativas. Aconselho.

We went as a group of 4 the salt mines are fantastic & the guide was great. Auschwitz was a really informative from the guides point of view. It’s hard to say you had a good time due to the nature of the place but it is definitely worth visiting. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes there is lots of walking to be done at all areas. The packed lunch wasn’t the best by any means I would take some snacks as the ham sandwich wasn’t awful.

Well worth the money. Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau was very informative and eye opening to just how extreme and large the concentration camp/holocaust was. Make sure to wear good walking shoes for a long day of walking. We then traveled to the salt mines which were absolutely incredible. It was unbelievable how large it was (and we only saw a fraction of what is there), inside were stunning cathedrals made completely from the salt down there. Truly a sight to behold. Highly recommend this trip, both a must visit while in Poland
