From Krakow: Auschwitz-Birkenau Tour with Transfer

The trip/guide was incredibly useful in helping us get to and from the area. Our guide Zuzanna was very helpful, and knowledgeable. She even added an extra stop and talk to our trip to fill in time while we waited for the entry time. Highly recommend.

Our pickup time was changed from 0700 to 0445 and we were initially horrified but in retrospect that was a great move by the company. We ended up queuing at Auschwitz for 2.5 hours but had we arrived later it would have been at least 5. Because our entry to Auschwitz 1 wasn't until 4 we did an extra trip to the Judenramps before Auschwitz 2. Then they added a trip to a museum which was clearly still being built but had agreed to accommodate 2 coaches of people on short notice and a local museum before heading back to Auschwitz 1. Our guide Phillip had come in on his day off to cover sickness, which was amazing of him and he coped brilliantly with covering two coaches. He also handled some difficult passengers, calmly and professionally. He's a credit to the tour company.
