What People Are Saying About Krakow

Sad but guide was well versed in the history of Auschwitz

Felt guilty leaving the camp and arriving back at the hotel for a hot shower, how can we be so cruel to another human being? War is War kill or be killed but brutality and cruelty is beyond humanity, to try and destroy the evidence tells me they knew it was wrong so how can you be so scared of a system and lower the standards of a great country like Germany and but those men, women and babies through months, years of torture the lucky ones died on arrival......................sad to say the least, beyond belief.

From pick up to drop off totally outstanding

Driver arrived on time and was very pleasant. The salt mines are amazing a fantasic visit with also fantastic guide Mya. Very comfortable vehicle for travel.

Excellent tour with excellent tour guide

Very interesting tour guide who felt passionate about the history of Auschwitz and Birkenau. It would have been helpful if I had been informed before the trip that medium handbags are not allowed in the museum and must be left in luggage storage or on the bus

Kraków is my favourite place to visit and this trip was so enjoyable.

This was a really enjoyable trip and it was extremely interesting with a thoughtful range of activities. Our guide Casia was delightful, informative and engaging. Her commentary was excellent and her knowledge of the area and its history was substantial. I appreciated her subtle sense of humour throughout the trip. Despite heavy traffic on the road to zakopane, the ride was comfortable and the scenery beautiful. The range of houses passed on the journey became even more interesting as the first major stop allowed us to look inside an old wooden house, with its original decor from times gone by, and we observed an artist doing some of his wood carving in one of the rooms. Zakopane itself was pretty and I was delighted that the substantial number of visitors to this mountain resort are Polish. The funicular and chairlift were splendid and although I don't like heights I felt perfectly safe. We were blessed with a beautiful September day and our fantastic guide kept the sun shining.

Excellent transport, guides, information given - would recommend.

The day started with a pick up from our hotel in a luxury mini bus. We got a lot of interesting information from an on board video during the journey. Excellent guides giving us clear instructions when we arrived. The security queue was quite long when we arrived but nobody minded as we understand the reasons for this. Excellent guide and headphone information. Very poignant 3 hour trip. Have been 6 times now as we take groups to Kraków - this trip never fails to make a massive impact on us every time we visit.
