We arrived at the bus stop, bus was on time and we made our way to Auscwitz where we was checked in and our guide Lydia was very thorough explaining everything to us, we then headed to birkenau which was eye-opening again. Auscwitz is a must see, we then headed on the bus with our main tour guide Max who took us to the Salt Mines. This was a really cool place definitely unexpected some of the statues and picture within is amazing. It was a very long day and we were very tired at the end, the salt mine you have to go down around 800steps altogether at different times, but lucky there is a very small lift to take you back up which is lucky. This trip is a must to anyone who hasn’t got much time In Krakow. If you’ve got longer time I would probably split the days as there is a lot of walking involved 28000 steps I did that day so be prepared 😁😁
For AB, i was shocked by what i have seen in the camp and the museum, especially when i was walking on the same pavement which those deported jews walked on before. The tour was in a perfect pace and the tour was very reflective. It’s a really nice place for educational purposes. For the salt mine, i will say the attraction is quite unique and remarkable. However, the mine is over decorated with spotlights that makes it less authentic . The accent of the tour guide was too thick and individual audio equipment was not provided. These made it really hard to listen to the guide in the mine. But overall, still worth a visit.
