A must do tour when visiting Krakow. Don't bother trying to get to Auschwitz independently, go on an organised trip with transport, you'' get so much more out of it. A very sombering and sad trip but equally we learnt so much from our excellent guide who took us in and out of various areas and buildings at both camps. Wear comfy shoes, note that you can only take a tiny bag in, water only which you can only drink in designated areas and no food allowed, so take something to eat and drink in the court yard before you go through the security scanners to begin the tour. There is a tiny book stall that has some very interesting books about the camps. We picked one up for 20 zolty which equates to £5. Fascinating as well as harrowing and every kind of emotion and feeling in between. You are allowed to take photos in some areas but to be honest you don't really want to. I found it quite disrespectful that some visitors were taking photos in the gas chambers. A must do trip.

Really great, friendly and helpful company - We had mixed up our times and we're due to miss our bus to Auschwits. I rang the help line and was told that a private car was going to us pick. They contacted me on whatsapp, I sent them my location and then we were all set! Great day out and really enjoyed the tour, extremely informative and genuinely interesting. Also, big thanks to Greg (on the phone) who helped us out and saved the day! 10/10

A friend and I booked this experience to Auschwitz, thinking it would be best to have a fully-informed guide to tell us about the extremely important history of the concentration camp. We were not wrong. The camp itself does not have much information on display, much of it simply there to look at and experience. Our guide, Michael, was the one who truly brought out the meaning and history of this tragic place. He was very straightforward and didn't make light of any of the information he was telling. The way he retold the stories of Auschwitz was very objective, but not in a way where he seemed desensitized to the gravity. The transportation was also wonderful. Pick-up was prompt, the drive was pleasant, and he offered several times to grab some water, food, or go to the restroom. It was a very pleasant experience in terms of the organization of the tour itself, even if the content of the tour of Auschwitz and Birkenau are extremely grave.
