A pleasant young driver with an 8 seater van arrived at the designated pick up point on time. The van was clean and air conditioned. There was heavy traffic on the journey to Auschwitz. On arrival the driver gave us a guide book and advice both venues. He advised to go to Birkenau first on the free local buses and then return to Auschwitz to complete our tour. We took his advice and just had enough time to get both venues done before we returned to Krakow. The journey home was much quicker as there was less traffic.I aw

Well organised and couldn't have gone any better. After doing a guided tour some years ago I had missed exhibits and it felt rushed- therefore I wanted to try a self guided tour option. It was great from start to finish; I was informed the day before that my time had changed and this was not an issue for me. The driver met us at the required location on time and had our tickets and guide books with him. The guide books were all marked out for us with the exhibits that are a must see and I liked that we started in Birkenau first as self guided tours can't go into Auschwitz main camp until 3, this meant that we could walk around without lots of tour groups and when we went across to auschwitz the tour groups had filtered out to Birkenau. Amazing but very emotional and sad visit but an absolute must.

We had a great time. Our driver Chris was really nice and very helpful. Even though We didn’t have a guide when he gave us guide book he helped us by marking the most important places we should see in auschwitz. He was willing to answer all our questions on our way back and explain things that we saw and didn’t understand. Totally recommend this.
