Full description

Your tour begins with a complimentary pickup from your hotel in Dubrovnik. From there travel to the border, 45 kilometers south of Dubrovnik. Once you make it over the border to Montenegro, your adventure starts.

Travel to and explore the small town of Perast. Take a boat to Kotor to begin your sightseeing cruise. First, visit a small man-made island in the middle of Kotor Bay: the Island of Our Lady of the Rocks, one of the most important symbols of Montenegro with fascinating scenery and architecture.

Following a short visit, your cruise continues to Kotor, the most important Venetian port on this side of the Adriatic Coast. UNESCO-listed since 1979, this town is surrounded by 4.5-km-long city walls and contains a fascinating Old Town.

Choose to climb up to the walls, visit the museums, walk the streets, or just enjoy having lunch in one of the great local restaurants. At the end of your experience, return back to Dubrovnik where your guide will take you back to your hotel.

Rosa was an excellent tour guide and organizer, beginning with reserving seats in the front of the bus for us as I requested, as I sometimes get some motion sickness. She was knowledgeable and pleasant and tried to answer all our questions. The trip was longer than advertised, even though the border crossings only took about a half hour each way. The pickups and dropoffs add time to the trip, but are so convenient for travelers. Rosa and our driver Pero kept everything moving but never made us feel rushed. They work well together. Our guide in Kotor, Mila, was knowledgeable and gave us the basics of the city even though it was crowded and noisy. We had ample time in Kotor, Our Lady of the Rocks, and Perast. The boat ride and views from the island were incredible and the best part of the trip. I highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful excursion! Kotor Bay is unbelievable! Rosa, our guide, did a good job in Croatia. It was hard sometimes to understand Nick, the Kotor guide, even though he was very knowledgeable. A lot of extra time was spent picking and dropping off 40 people. It was almost a 12 hour day!

The trip to Montenegro was really nice! First stop is the city of Perast which is a small cute city , you get 30 minutes of walking around and then you take the boat to the Lady of our rocks island. After that you'll go to Kotor with the boat, you enjoy the view of the sea and the mountains, it was the highlight of the tour! Then you have almost an 1 hour with the guide and 2 free hours there! The tour leader will explain everything on your way, plus she has a great energy and fun personality (Klara). The tour guide was really good too and gave a lot of interesting facts about Montenegro! I had a good time but I wish we had one hour more in Kotor! It was a good experience and the tour is really organized, no need to worry about crossing the border.
