Full description

Your tour begins with a complimentary pickup from your hotel in Dubrovnik. From there travel to the border, 45 kilometers south of Dubrovnik. Once you make it over the border to Montenegro, your adventure starts.

Travel to and explore the small town of Perast. Take a boat to Kotor to begin your sightseeing cruise. First, visit a small man-made island in the middle of Kotor Bay: the Island of Our Lady of the Rocks, one of the most important symbols of Montenegro with fascinating scenery and architecture.

Following a short visit, your cruise continues to Kotor, the most important Venetian port on this side of the Adriatic Coast. UNESCO-listed since 1979, this town is surrounded by 4.5-km-long city walls and contains a fascinating Old Town.

Choose to climb up to the walls, visit the museums, walk the streets, or just enjoy having lunch in one of the great local restaurants. At the end of your experience, return back to Dubrovnik where your guide will take you back to your hotel.

The tour was great. The guides were polite and attentive. At the border, they didn’t stand there for long, and back in the evening they stood in a traffic jam for more than 2 hours. In Kotor, it was only two hours to explore the area, and most of the day was on the road than walking. If you need to walk a lot, it is better to come separately without a group. Picked up and brought back to the hotel.

It was a day full of adventure, we couldn’t ask for more. Our guide was awesome. Kotor is a very nice city. The boat cruise expectacular. We even had time to go to the beach which we appreciated because it was a very hot day. We had a little problem with the air conditioning of our bus which was solved successfully by our guide. She was very professional and we want to thank her for her efforts to look after our comfort and safety.

Excursion from Dubrovnik allowing you to go to Montenegro. Super practical! The round trip is by air-conditioned bus. A shuttle boat excursion is planned on site to visit the islands, and in particular Kotor with 3 hours free. We recommend the old town, very beautiful to visit. PS: 1€ tax per person is requested upon your arrival in Montenegro (country currency) You also have the possibility on site of renting an afternoon to visit the surrounding islands and in particular the blue cave, but these are not included in this excursion and you would run out of time. I therefore recommend that you do it on another day. :)
