Together we will visit the Youngest Country in the Europe, Kosova <3 Usually the trip starts early in the morning to Escape Tirana traffic and to make most of the day. On the way we can have a stop for a coffee/cold drink or breakfast in Kukes area. Together we cross the border, and together we will visit the capital of Kosovo, Pristina. First thing we will see is the Cathedral of Mother Theresa, National Library of Kosova “Pjeter Bogdani” , The main boulevard "George Bush" , Pedestrian Area, Madeline Albright Monument, Heroins Constellation and Newborn monument, symbol of the Youngest Country in the Europe. Time for coffee, walk or sightseeing. Ater Prishtina we head to Prizren, considered as the cultural capital of Kosovo, mixing its rich history, incredible nature and gastronomic delights. Time for lunch. Its time to Visit the river that flows through the heart of the old town and under the many bridges that crisscross the city. During this tour, you'll visit key attractions like Kruja Castle, the Skanderbeg Museum, the Old Bazaar, and the peaceful Sari Salltik Mountain. We’ll start by picking you up from your hotel and taking a scenic drive to Kruja. After about an hour, we’ll reach the city and begin our tour at Kruja Castle. This ancient fortress is home to the Skanderbeg Museum, dedicated to Albania’s national hero, Skanderbeg, who led the fight against the Ottomans in the 15th century. Inside the castle, you’ll see replicas of Skanderbeg’s helmet and sword, along with family crests and other historical artifacts. Next, we’ll visit the Ethnographic Museum, set in a beautifully restored Ottoman-era house. This museum offers a look into daily life in Kruja during the Ottoman period, showcasing traditional clothing, tools, and household items. Afterward, we’ll head to the Old Bazaar, a lively market filled with local crafts. You can browse for unique souvenirs like handwoven rugs, silver jewelry, and pottery. To end the tour, we’ll take a scenic drive up to Sari Salltik Mountain, where you’ll visit a peaceful cave at 1,176 meters above sea level. From here, you’ll enjoy stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Sometimes, religious ceremonies take place at the cave, though this is rare. If you’d prefer to avoid this, please let your guide know before the tour. After the visit to Sari Salltik, we’ll return to Tirana. Please consider: The pick up will be handled by the guide, and you will be promptly informed 10 to 15 minutes before we get to your location. This tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel in Skopje, traveling to Prishtina where your local guide will be waiting for you. First, visit Monastery Gracanica, and then arrive in Pristina where you will start a tour of Pristina. Your first stop in will be the Kosova National Library, an example of modern architectural design. Then make your way to the open air archaeological park with artifacts from the Neolithic period and Kosova Museum built by Austrians for the Turkish army in 1898, which has an extensive collection of archaeological and ethnological artifacts including the Neolithic Goddess on a Throne terracotta. Head to Çarshi Mosque, the oldest building in Pristina constructed in the 15th-century by the Turkish Sultan Bajazit. Afterwards, head to the Academy Building, a 19th-century Ottoman konak style private houses. Visit the Fatih Mosque or Imperial Mosque built in 1461 under the Turkish Sultan Mehmed II Fatih and the  Great Hammam – bath complex built in 1470 graced with 15 domes with small holes to let light stream in. Make your way to the Ethnographic Museum. The Emin Gjiku Complex is a extremely well-preserved building from 18th-century and it’s the only original building left in old bazaar area. The tour will finish with a visit of Gazimestan Tower. Contnue to Prizren for your walking tour of the city includes the attractive Ottoman old town, known for its gold and silver filigree craftsmen, the hammam, the Museum of Prizren League, the Helveti Tekke, Sinia Pasha Mosque and the Church of Our Lady of Ljevis. Prizren has the largest number of preserved Ottoman buildings in Kosovo, so simply wandering around the old cobbled streets admiring the town houses, mosques and tekkes is a delight. Start with a pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Sofia at 8:00 AM. Travel for approximately 3.5 hours to the first destination of the two-day excursion, the city of Skopje, which is the capital of North Macedonia. During the drive, learn the political history of the region.  Upon arrival in Skopje, enjoy a 2-hour city tour with a Macedonian guide. Explore both the old and the new parts of the city, seeing its major landmarks. After the walking tour, enjoy some free time (discuss this with your guide) during which you will have the chance to rest and taste the local cuisine. Afterward, continue the journey to Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, which will take approximately 2 hours. When you reach Pristina enjoy some free time to explore the highlights of the city after which you will travel to the cultural capital of the country, Prizen. Stay overnight in a wonderful hotel in the heart of the city.  On the second day, have breakfast in the hotel followed by a walking tour of Prizen at 8:30 AM. Explore the narrow cobblestone streets and authentic Ottoman buildings. Visit Mehmet Pasha Hamam, the 15th-century stone bridge and the fortress situated high above the city. From here, get a fantastic view of the whole city. This is the last site that we will visit in Prizren. Then we will go back to Skopje (which will take approx. 2.5 hours drive) where we will have some time to relax and have lunch. At 15:00 we will head back to Sofia, where you will be dropped off at the location you want.

Departing from Tirana, travel north to cross the border into the Stone Age city of Pristina. Visit and tour a medieval Orthodox monastery before continuing to the architectural marvel of the National Library in Pristina, home of 15th-century material literature. In Pristina, a city tour will also explore 14th-century mosques. Leaving Pristina we will head toward Prizren, sometimes called the cultural capital of Kosovo. I had such a great experience on the Kosovo trip. The tour guide Eno was so knowledgeable and helpful and I really enjoyed the two cities. Prizren and Pristina were so worth the visit - both cities are completely different. I definitely recommend the tour if you have a spare day in Albania.
