Full description

This trip is designed to give you all the freedom you wish to discover Zia on your own terms. Your bus will pick you up from your hotel and after a short scenic drive, will transport you to the city centre of Zia. Enjoy discovering the village by yourself, at your own pace, and without a guide. Zia is an enchanting little village that lies at the base of Mount Dikeos, the highest mountain of Kos island, that culminates at 846m above sea level. The village has kept its traditional feel and has become one of the major tourist attractions of the island. Here you will find many little shops selling local products, arts and crafts. The atmosphere is very relaxed and you will get to sip your drink or dine on a romantic terrace while admiring the most beautiful sunset on Kos. As an extra service, your guide can also reserve you a table at the restaurant of your choice, ensuring your whole evening runs smoothly. You will have approximately 2.5 hours of free time. At the prearranged meeting time, the bus will pick you up from the same place it dropped you off to take you back to your hotel.

Wij hebben een heel leuke ervaring gehad in Zia! Zia is een gezellig, pittoresk dorpje met verschillende leuke restaurants en winkeltjes en ook de typische wit-blauwe huizen. De zonsondergang en het uitzicht zijn echt magnifiek en de moeite waard! Jammer was wel dat we meteen na de zonsondergang terug werden opgepikt (20u45). Wij hadden liever nog wat langer in het dorpje gespendeerd.

Apart from not being updated at the time that the bus was going to be later than original time given which left me thinking I had missed the bus even after chatting to your C/S advisors via “ chat “ on GYGuide as I hadn’t been informed about delay. Otherwise we did enjoy watching the sunset which was stunning.

It was a very nice trip to Zia, the busdriver was really nice. In Zia we ate at a reastaurant called Taverna Zia, the food was very good and the people working there were so cute. There is also a really bar called East Blue, the guys were very handsome
