Full description
Explore the attractive island of Kos and admire white sandy beaches, crystal-clear water and idyllic mountain villages. Start above the city of Kos and visit Asklepieion. It is reported that the origins of this former temple date back to around the 4th century BC. The former temple consists of three levels and was once the place for the foundation stone of modern medicine, because there Hippocrates wrote the oath of the same name, which has survived to this day. Drive on to the small village of Antimachia and see an old windmill and a traditional farmhouse. Continue through olive groves and unspoilt countryside to the Kefalos peninsula. Admire the island's most beautiful beaches and enjoy a Greek lunch (optional) in the picturesque Kamari Bay or take advantage of the opportunity for a short refreshment in the crystal clear sea. Another highlight of the eventful day is a visit to the typical mountain village of Zia with its old houses on the slope of the imposing Dikeos mountain. Stroll through the small alleys and get to know the tranquil way of life of the Greeks. Discover the numerous spice stands and taste the typical cinnamon water.

The tour was beautiful, the guide, an older man, was very nice and could tell a lot about Greece and Kos and their history. The guide's German was also very good, but of course with an accent. The time between the stations was also perfectly fine, enough time to look at everything.

The old man (tour guide) was in a very good mood, very wise man who told a lot about the island and its history. What I would find a bit expensive is the entrance fee (8 €) at the Asklepieon stop! For an hour stay, I would be fine with 4 €! You can do all of the stops yourself with a scooter or rental car

A saved (birth) day

First of all I would like to thank your team, because we had missed the bus out of ignorance, everything was done that we could still take part in the island tour. In the end we were followed by a taxi. Thanks again. The guide is really a veteran and he has told many interesting stories. We weren't able to see all the sights anymore, but what we saw was interesting, educational and fun. The whole trip and lunch break were very well organized and the food was delicious. Ultimately, everyone was brought back to their hotel. Thanks to the bus driver! I think it would be an advantage if you informed the participants that you would be picked up at the bus stop in front of the hotel and given the bus number (P 21).
