From Kos: Nisyros Island Volcano and Panagia Spiliani

Great day thoroughly enjoyed it, would definitely recommend! Nisyros is beautiful and the volcano breathtaking! Martha was also a brilliant host.

This was a great trip, and Marta an excellent guide. Mandraki was a charming town. A good lunch at Vegos and an awesome afternoon visiting the crater of the volcano…an incredible experience. Would recommend this day trip.

Fantastic, Martha was friendly and clear with the next steps and where to go. Our group ended up having the free time around the town first before going to the volcano. You get a couple of hours to have some food, visit the monastery and do some shopping. At the volcano, it’s about 5-10 min walk to the crater and it’s best to wear trainers. There is a good viewpoint at the top. There is somewhere to buy drinks and at a seated area in the shade. The driver collected us 10 mins early so be there early. It was a bit overwhelming at first as multiple buses all meet to get the boat and then you get given different cards to split into groups on the island. It seemed a bit chaotic at first but it’s organised, so listen out for your group. The same when you get the boat back to Kardamena as all groups walk over to the meeting point together and they call out your hotel. We were back at out hotel for 5pm. A great day trip when visiting Kos!
